SUMMARY:Roach Valley Walk
DESCRIPTION:Get out those Walking Boots!A scenic walk to visit Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park in the Roach Valley to view the picturesque lake area. The 200 acre wildlife park was opened on former agriculture land in 2003\, and to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar an avenue of some 200 oak trees were planted\, including one from Hockley and Hawkwell WI. \nWednesday 15th August 2018\, meet at 10.15 for 10.30 start . \nThe walk is approximately 3 miles and we will be meeting at Clements Hall Leisure Centre SS5 4LN The cost of the walk will be £5.50 for administration\, tea/coffee and cake which will be served in Clements Hall after the walk.Registered Assistance Dogs only. Please wear appropriate footwear and sunscreen!  \nFINISH TIME IS APPROX\, maybe later maybe sooner!
