DESCRIPTION:Members £38 \nNon members £41 \n \nDo you want to hear about millinery and its local history\, and learn how to make something beautiful and meaningful? \nMilliner Susan Widlake will firstly give a new talk ‘One Hundred Years of Hat Making – tools\, materials and techniques’. \nThen after a break you will create a poppy from leather. Simple but messy\, you will learn how to stiffen and shape the poppy petals and put them together to make either a brooch\, corsage or to add to a fascinator. Suitable for anyone – you will have to get your hands sticky so if you don’t like mess this isn’t for you! \nBring a packed lunch and a mug for your tea/coffee. \nNon members welcome.
