DESCRIPTION:A full day of dance and fun!  This is for all shapes\, sizes\, ages and fitness levels. Learn 3 great dances.  In the morning you will learn Burlesque.  It’s a really fun and friendly way to get fit\, build confidence and to find that inner you.  Your tutor will take you through the classic moves and then teach you a short and sassy routine. “Ready for more?” You will then be eased gently into the Eastern Promise Belly Dance where you will learn the basic movements of Belly Dance\, which is a healing and therapeutic dance form using hip\, body and arm movements in harmony with the music. \nAfter lunch get ready for your BOLLYWOOD DANCE class.  Bollywood Dance is easy on the eye. Dramatic facial expressions and cinematic pizzazz means anyone can follow the story. The movements are made up of a series of historic symbols and traditions. \nAll this will take place at the WI Centre on Friday 18th March 2016\, from 10.00 am until 3.30pm.  Please bring a packed lunch.  Coffee and tea will be available. \nTICKETS ARE £25.00 EACH. \nClosing date 18/2/16 \n

DESCRIPTION:99th County Annual Meeting \n  \nCliffs Pavilion\, Station Road\, Southend on Sea\, Essex SS0 7RA \nFriday 11th March 2016 \n Doors open 9.45am for 11.00am – 3.30pm (approx.) \n  \nWe are delighted to announce our guest speakers for the day\, Ruth Goodman a renowned British freelance Historian and Nick Grounds\, an Auctioneer and NAFAS Demonstrator. \n  \n  \nThere are cafeteria/bar facilities but due to the numbers expected\, it would be advisable to bring a packed lunch.  Tea and coffee will be available to purchase. \n  \nThe later start will allow you to catch up with friends and talk with representatives from the Federation and also undertake some retail therapy from the many traders attending. \n  \nGeorge Mills will be with us to collect the much needed supplies for the Revival Centre. \n  \nThis meeting is open to one delegate (free of charge) from each Institute and visitors at £11.50 \neach.  There is ample free parking.  \n  \nCLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS IS MONDAY 1ST OF FEB – Application forms went out in Novembers Mailing

DESCRIPTION:Normally a Friday but not on this occasion is the very popular and normally oversubscribed New Speakers Day! \n  \nWe look forward to seeing you at the New Speakers Day at the WI Centre\, Whitelands\, Terling Road\, Hatfield Peverel\, CM3 2AG which we have arranged for Thursday 26th February 2016. There will be five or six different speakers who will give a shortened version of their usual presentations. As always there will be an opportunity to ask questions and to complete a short questionnaire giving your thoughts about the speakers’ suitability for WI meetings. \n  \nDo come along on Thursday 25th February from 10.00am for coffee with a 10.30am start to 3.30pm at the WI Centre.
