DESCRIPTION:WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? \nFamily History Days for you to start your Family Tree. \n  \nWednesday 21st September and Wednesday 19th October 2016 \n  \nMany of us have watched the TV programmes and have wondered where do I come from\, or how do I get started on my family tree?  Help is at hand with our first \nfamily history course. \n  \nThe first day (21st September) will be at the WI Centre and we will be looking at getting started with what is already known\, looking at various websites and learning how to draw up a family tree. (Times approx) \n  \nOur second day (19th October) is a visit to the Essex Record Office where we will be able to see how a record office works and what it can offer the family historian. (Times Approx) \n  \nThis two day course costs £25.  It could lead to an interesting journey and who knows what relationships we may find. \n  \nPlease bring a packed lunch on both days and money for car parking in Chelmsford on 19th October.  Notebook and pencils will also be required.  \nLet’s delve into history!

SUMMARY:Maldon Barge Trip
DESCRIPTION:A two hours sail on board a Thames Sailing Barge will include a Ploughmans lunch. These historic barges have been an iconic sight around the East Anglian Coast for at least 150 years and with their ability to nose their way into small creeks and inlets and also take on the often stormy North Sea on their journeys around the coast\, and trading in and out of London. Before the making of the modern road system they were the trading lifeline for the coastal part of our County. \nWe will be on a vessel converted for cruising with modern facilities but it must be emphasized that this trip is only suitable for those with full normal mobility\, wearing suitable clothing and flat shoes must be worn. \nSailing time will be approximately midday and passengers should be available for boarding 45 minutes before that time ie 11.15am on Monday 4th of July 2016\, all timing is however dependent on the tide. All food is home made and is prepared either on broad on in the Riverside Kitchen and the menu is cheese and Ham Ploughmans followed by Apple and Blackberry Crumble and cream. Tea and coffee can be bought at the bar\, also something stronger should you feel the need! \nWe hope that you will join us for this chance to see the wildlife and the lovely views from the water\, from the deck of your own sailing barge. \nThe price is £39.00 and parking (pay machine) is available nearby. \n  \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:A full day of dance and fun!  This is for all shapes\, sizes\, ages and fitness levels. Learn 3 great dances.  In the morning you will learn Burlesque.  It’s a really fun and friendly way to get fit\, build confidence and to find that inner you.  Your tutor will take you through the classic moves and then teach you a short and sassy routine. “Ready for more?” You will then be eased gently into the Eastern Promise Belly Dance where you will learn the basic movements of Belly Dance\, which is a healing and therapeutic dance form using hip\, body and arm movements in harmony with the music. \nAfter lunch get ready for your BOLLYWOOD DANCE class.  Bollywood Dance is easy on the eye. Dramatic facial expressions and cinematic pizzazz means anyone can follow the story. The movements are made up of a series of historic symbols and traditions. \nAll this will take place at the WI Centre on Friday 18th March 2016\, from 10.00 am until 3.30pm.  Please bring a packed lunch.  Coffee and tea will be available. \nTICKETS ARE £25.00 EACH. \nClosing date 18/2/16 \n
