Jane Cobbett is a tutor and collector of vintage patchwork, based in the West Midlands, she has a passion for old textiles and the methods used to create unusual and beautiful pieces from the smallest Victorian Love Token to full size quilts. Jane will share on screen a selection of her quilts and talk about the fascinating history of each quilt. She will cover the restoration and care of old textiles and general information on vintage quilts and their construction from the Victorian period to the 1970s. Suitable for anyone who likes sewing, patchwork, history and crafts.
