WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?
Family History Days for you to start your Family Tree.
Wednesday 21st September and Wednesday 19th October 2016
Many of us have watched the TV programmes and have wondered where do I come from, or how do I get started on my family tree? Help is at hand with our first
family history course.
The first day (21st September) will be at the WI Centre and we will be looking at getting started with what is already known, looking at various websites and learning how to draw up a family tree. (Times approx)
Our second day (19th October) is a visit to the Essex Record Office where we will be able to see how a record office works and what it can offer the family historian. (Times Approx)
This two day course costs £25. It could lead to an interesting journey and who knows what relationships we may find.
Please bring a packed lunch on both days and money for car parking in Chelmsford on 19th October. Notebook and pencils will also be required.
