A Continuing Walking Tour of Historic Colchester

Join us to continue our historical walks around Colchester led by yellowbadge tour guide, Kate. This tour covers the history of Colchester and includes St Botolph’s Priory, Tymperlys, Trinity Street Church and the Red Lion Hotel. You will learn about the historic Roman Wall and its many gates, the Roman Circus and witchcraft and plaque in the medieval town. Further sights for those that joined us in April 2024 but equally as interesting if you didn’t!
Meet by 10.15 for a 10.30 start outside St Botolph’s Priory front door, CO2 7EE.

Parking is available at Colchester Park & Ride (High Street stop), or one of the several public carparks nearby (search for Colchester City Centre parking online).
The nearest station is Colchester Town – around 10 minutes walk.
