BREAD MAKING DAY WITH HILARY HICKS

In collaboration with Chelmsford College, CCC are pleased to offer you a bread making day. During the day you will learn to make, and take home, white and brown bread; bun dough; naan breads; pittas and flatbreads. Your tutor for the day will be Hilary Hicks, who has been teaching cookery for over 30 years. She has a passion for baking and for passing on her knowledge and experience to others.
Parking at the college, but you need to bring lunch and drinks.
Participants to supply the following please: –
1.5k of strong white flour
500g of wholemeal flour
4 sachets of dried instant yeast
200g SR flour
200ml Greek yoghurt
250g butter
Bring an apron and wear sensible shoes as you are in a professional kitchen.
