Christmas Hardanger Embroidery with Karen Odinga

Join us for a festive-inspired introduction to Hardanger Embroidery with Karen Odinga.
This method of counted, cut, and filled stitching takes its name from the area surrounding the Hardanger fjord in western Norway. The embroidery designs are geometric and arranged in simple or complex ways. Using just some of the basic stitches, create a lovely hanging decoration for the holidays or a lavender scented pomander bag just in time for gift-giving.
Both patterns will be provided but time to make only one of your choice on the day.
This workshop is suitable for all abilities.
