Ever wanted to learn to patchwork. Now C&CC are offering you the opportunity to try this diverse craft. This workshop is concentrating on one aspect of patchwork, American blocks, and you will also learn a basic quilting technique.   At the end of the workshop, you will leave with a completed cushion cover. The cost includes the fabric for the cover with a variety of colours and patterns to choose from.

The workshop will include a demonstration on the selection, preparation and cutting of the blocks.  Having selected your fabrics, you will join the shapes to form the block and then finally the cushion cover. Basic quilting techniques will be employed to finish the cover.
Your tutor is Paulette, a C&CC committee member, who is a very enthusiastic and skilled patch worker and quilter, who has been exploring and enjoying this craft for over 40 years.
You will need to bring your own sewing machine and be competent in basic stitching.  The full list of requirements will be sent with your confirmation.
