We are delighted to welcome back to WI Centre the fabulous Pat Lumsdale who will teach you how to make a handy tote bag and quilt it too.

This 12”x 12” x 5” bag is a useful size for your bits and pieces whether it’s books, craftwork, dancing shoes or shopping with handles long enough to go over your shoulder. It’s also a great way to use fabric left from another project as the sides, handles, linings, and gusset can be completely different fabrics.

Pat will also demonstrate a simple patchwork technique you could use another time to make another of the bags. 

This course requires the use of a sewing machine, which you need to bring with you, and to know how to use it for straight stitching. A full list of requirements will be sent out when you book.
