Pulled and drawn work are embroidery techniques that create decorative effects on even weave fabrics. This workshop, led by Karen Odinga, will give attendees an introduction to the basic stitches used in pulls and drawn embroidery. The day has been planned so that you will take home a completed mug coaster and have the confidence to explore these techniques and stitches in your own time.
All materials included but please bring the following:-
Your sewing kit including sharp embroidery scissors
A magnifier/light if you need one for small stitching.
Non members welcome.
Please bring a packed lunch and a mug for tea/coffee.
