Lace Making for Beginners

Tutored by Penny, who has over 20 years experience lace making, you will learn the art of bobbin lace making. You will be shown how to set up a lace pillow, bobbin winding, and the basic stitches needed to make your unique piece of lace.
All the lace making equipment is provided for the day, but please bring a small pair of scissors and any portable light or magnifier you normally use.
A working booklet is provided to take home with you so you can continue on your lace making journey at your leisure.
Participants required to bring to the session:
- smaller scissors
- Magnifier and extra light if you require these
Non members welcome.
Please bring a mug for tea/coffee.
