Federation of Essex Women’s Institutes (FEWI) presents a day organised and run by CCC members to give you an opportunity to learn new skills whilst going home with 3 items that are ideal for those Christmas gifts for family and friends. 

Under Angela’s tutorage you will be making 6 marzipan fruits, colouring the marzipan, shaping the fruits, texturing and adding the final shading to your fruits.  

Pat will lead you through making a small crocheted bowl ideal for the marzipan fruits (no worries if you cannot crochet, we will be able to teach you a simple stitch to use on the day).  

With Lesley you will create a strawberry pincushion filled to keep those pins and needles sharp. 

All materials that you need to ​complete the three items will ​be supplied.  Home made mince pies will be served at lunchtime and the shop will be open for Christmas shopping. 

Please bring a mug for tea/coffee and a packed lunch.
