Crazy About Quilts with Jane Cobbett

We are delighted to welcome back Jane Cobbett. Jane is a tutor and collector of vintage patchwork, based in the West Midlands, she has a passion for old textiles and the methods used to create unusual and beautiful pieces from the smallest Victorian Love Token to full size quilts. In her second talk with FEWI, Jane covers the fascinating history of patchwork quilts, the methods used, unusual fabrics, social history, care etc starting from the 1600s through to the 1970s and including modern art quilts.
