EVERY QUILT HAS A STORY with Dr. Tony Mansi and author, Liz Trenow

If you are interested in social history and/or needlecraft then this is an event you cannot afford to miss. The morning will consist of two speakers:
Firstly – Author, Liz Trenow who will be talking about her book “The forgotten Seamstress” which is based in Essex; www.liztrenow.com
Secondly – Dr. Tony Mansi on WW2 Canadian Red Cross Quilts. His talk will give the origins of the quilts made in Canada and the narratives of the recipients in the UK, with a focus on those received in Essex.
Coffee and mince pies served mid morning.
