FEWI is delighted to announce the return of our annual Carol Concerts in St Mary the Virgin, Saffron Walden at 2.30 and 7.30.  Please ensure you select ​your preferred time when booking your ticket.

St Mary’s is the largest non-cathedral church in Essex with an overall length of 183 feet and the spire is 193 feet high.  There has been a church on this site since Norman times, the current building dates predominantly from 1250. www.visitsaffronwalden.gov.uk   

 
Local soprano, Nancy-May will be performing a selection of festive treats, as will local community choirs who will be attending. There will be seasonal readings and best of all, a selection of Christmas Carols for us all to sing.

 
Radwinter WI has very kindly offered to provide refreshments before each of the services in the Parish Rooms, which are just beside the church.

Please note that there is no parking at the church but parking in available nearby – on the Common CB10 1JG and a large car park at Swan Meadow CB10 1DA which also offers parking for coaches.
