Powertex with Sarah Ambrose at WI Centre – CCC

The Cookery and Creative Crafts committee are so pleased to be offering this Powertex workshop for the first time at WI Centre. Powertex is a non-toxic, water-based, environmentally friendly textile hardener which can harden absorbent materials such as textiles, fabric, leather, paper, and fibreglass. On the day you will be decorating a bottle and glass using this medium – now is the chance to use all those items saved in case they are needed: i.e. buckles, safety pins, ribbons, lace etc. Your tutor for the day is Sarah and her website can be viewed at www.theskullshed.co.uk. This workshop is suitable for beginners with no prior experience and for those who have previously tried the craft.
